The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; “The Better Migration Management” Sudan programme funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European commission (EU), would like to issue a consultancy contract for providing a system to track and regularly monitor Ethiopian Seasonal Labor Migrants’ (SLM) mobility in Gedaref state.

This service contract will involve the following deliverables but not limited to: This program requires collection of primary data through interviews, field visits, observations, and focus group discussions. Secondary data will be collected through desk review (once, on the beginning of the 1st month) while quantitative data will be obtained by questionnaire.

Accordingly, GIZ invites interested service providers to provide GIZ Sudan with the following:

1. An official letter expressing interest clearly indicating your interest to participate in this tender.
2. Comprehensive profile with the following information; full Address details: City, Street, Place, Legal form, Registration body, copy of the legal registration, contact details: phone and e-mails.
3. Copy of Memorandum of Understanding agreement required with Ethiopian universities (university of Bahir Dar, university of Mikelle and university of Gondar).
4. Recent 12 months bank statements from 2020 and 2021.
5. Evidence for provision of at least one similar service in research topic related to seasonal labour migration and vulnerable migrants. Third party evidence such as copies of award letters, contracts is highly encouraged.
