Médecins Sans Frontières is an international association governed by private law which provides assistance to populations in distress, victims of disasters of natural or human origin, situations of belligerency, without any race, religion, philosophical or political discrimination. Médecins Sans Frontières is present in SUDAN, DAMAZIN, as part of a programme of life-saving activities in Inpatient Therapeutic Feeding Center (ITFC) in the Damazin Teaching Hospital (DTH).

As part of its mission in Sudan, MSF wants to launch a call for expressions of interest for the identification and pre-selection of leading construction companies that can ensure:

The execution of CONSTRUCTION works for a new building in Damazin Teaching Hospital of ALL TRADES

The project includes:

 

Complete construction of a building at Damazin Teaching Hospital, with an approximate ground-floor area of 330 m². The building is planned to be constructed using a standard reinforced concrete structure and ceramic brick walls, including all associated technical works, plumbing, electrical and mechanical installations, finishes, and all other works necessary for the complete execution and handover of the project.

 

Some work to be carried out will require very strict validation of materials procedures (especially of finishing materials).

 

The file to be provided comprises the following annexes:

  • Annex 1.1 Bidder Questionnaire to be completed
  • Annex 1.2 Supporting documents to be provided
  • Annex 1.3 Letter of Appointment of the bidder Company

It should be noted that only companies that meet at least the criteria indicated in the annexes and providing the relevant documents at the time of the submission, will be pre-selected and considered for a more thorough evaluation before being invited to participate in the potential call for tenders.
