  1. Mercy Corps – Sudan has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Enhancing Community Resilience Project (THABAT) – AF1 and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply of Medical Waste Management and Disposal Consumables. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using direct disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.
  2. The Mercy Corps now invites bids from eligible bidders for the Supply of Medical Waste Management and Disposal Consumables.

  1. Procurement will be conducted through Open National Procurement using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) procedure.
  2. Interested suppliers may obtain further information from Mercy Corps Sudan Gedaref Office / James Wandera – jwandera@mercycorps.org or Dawit Abafita – dabafita@mercycorps.org Aljubarab East District, Mercy Corps Office, Gedaref, Sudan.
  3. The Request for Quotations (RFQ), in English, together with its attachments, is available for download with this procurement notice.
  4. Quotations must be sent electronically through sd-tenders@mercycorps.org on or before July 26, 2026.
  5. The quotation shall be submitted in a compressed (.zip) folder clearly labeled with the reference: “SD-MC-554158-GO-RFQ – Supply of Medical Waste Management and Disposal Consumables.”
  6. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the Beneficial Ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
