Action Against Hunger tackles the causes and effects of hunger and diseases that threaten the lives of vulnerable children, women, and men. Established in France in 1979, Action Against Hunger is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization.

Communications Mission – Blue Nile and White Nile, Sudan

1. Background

Action Against Hunger (ACF) is planning a communications mission to Sudan from 12 July to 25 July 2026, covering White Nile and Blue Nile states. The mission aims to document the humanitarian situation resulting from the ongoing conflict, with a focus on food security, nutrition, WASH, emergency response, and gender-based violence (GBV).

ACF seeks to engage a professional photographer (or photography service provider) to produce high-quality visual content that reflects human-interest stories and supports institutional communication objectives.

2. Objective of the Assignment

The primary objective is to produce high-quality photographic content

3. Duration and Location

• Duration: Approximately 12–15 days field deployment
• Locations:
  • White Nile State
  • Blue Nile State
• Travel and movement will follow the mission agenda and security guidelines.
• Travel and accommodation will be covered by ACF.

4. Required Qualifications

Interested candidates should demonstrate:

• Proven experience in humanitarian or documentary photography
• Strong portfolio showcasing photojournalism and storytelling
• Experience with NGOs or international organizations is an asset
