Project Number: 20.2243.2-001.00, GIZ Energy Access Sudan
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; “GIZ Renewable Energy Supply in Rural Areas in Sudan” financed by Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) would like to award a consultancy contract for an agriculture context consultant in Gedaref, Sudan.
Objective of the TOR:
The Individual Consultant will be based in Gedaref, Sudan and work as a context consultant for agriculture related topics for GIZ project staff, but also coordinate with local farmer networks and groups on the ground. Therefore, the contractor is responsible for providing the following services:
- Coordination with local farmer networks and groups in Gedaref, Sudan
- Desk-review of relevant documents Support to and coordination with the GIZ project team:
- Gather additional information from external stakeholders
- Context analysis and demand orientation of planned activities
Accordingly, GIZ invites all interested individual consultants to provide following information that demonstrates that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform this service: An official letter expressing interest clearly indicating your interest to participate in the tender.

Proposal Submission
Interested bidders are required to send a blank email with tender reference: 83488594 in the subject line to KE_Quotation@giz.de between 13.05.2025 – 16.05.2025.
You will receive tender documents with further information on 19.05.2025, thereafter no tender documents will be received.
Clarification requests must be sent through the email KE_Quotation@giz.de by 23.05.2025 to be responded to via email by 26.05.2025.

Failure to submit a filled in application template and mandatory documents correctly will lead to automatic disqualification.
